Mekong River

The Mekong river is a supply for many things and people. It is one of the rivers with the most fish. The Mekong has many different names for many different places it flows through. The river splits up into nine different sections at some points. It is the main source for fishermen in that region. For some cultures near the river are religious and use the river for religious things. It flows through five different countries China, Myanmar (Burma), Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Vietnam. It isnt the type of river you would want to see. It is muddy brown and you cant see through it. It has many uses fisheries, irrigation, power and many more. It helps and gives alot of eople jobs. It is a very usefull source of water from earth. If i ever went there to work i would probably be a fisherman. Fish the rushing water in some parts of it. I would see the beautiful sun setting as i catch some massive fish.

Throughout Luke's blog post I learned a lot about how the Mekong River is so important to fresh water supple.I also learned that the Mekong River is very important because it has a large amount of fish. I learned that this river is important to some religions. The Mekong is not a beautiful river. It is very dirty and muddy. Even though it is very murky it still is an important supple of fresh water.
I also have noticed many similarities and differences of Luke's post and mine. To start Luke's river is in a warm climate and my location is in a very cold region. A similarity is that they both are important fish water supplies. Another difference is that my location is not used for food and Luke's river is an important source of fish. Also my ice-cap is very tall and wide and the Mekong River is short and curvy.
